Jiangsu Shagang Group CO., Ltd

This steel work is 10.8m high and installed in the west part of the elevated garden, which was constructed in 2000 for Shagang’s 25th anniversary.
Background: The height of 10.8m was selected to correspond with the anniversary date of October 8^th. A star is placed on top of the structure and underneath America’s “$” symbol can be seen. At the bottom of the structure a traditionally shaped gold ingot, a symbol of Chinese money, is built into the base of the structure. This references the idea that Shagang is (and will continue to be) successful in both the domestic and international markets.
